Pros

Healthcare benefits and 401k matching.

Cons

Navy Federal’s biggest problem is its leadership. The culture is built on favoritism, not performance. Promotions, raises, and bonuses are decided by relationships, not results. If you’re not part of management’s preferred circle, your career stalls. Hard work and strong contributions mean very little. Daily life is dominated by office politics. Several long tenured managers operate without accountability, and the double standards between employees and leadership are blatant. Longevity is rewarded more than actual impact. The environment is demoralizing and unprofessional more like a popularity contest than a serious workplace.

Your experience does not reflect the culture we strive to provide and maintain, and we are truly sorry we did not meet your expectations.

Pros

Free coffee, free lunch Fridays, healthcare and dental 7% 401k match

Cons

Went from 2 a week hybrid here to stay with no changes in sight to in the same year emailing that 3 a week is coming in April (mandatory) new performance bonus model. (Easy way for them to give lower graded performance reviews which saves them millions) while we are having one of the best years. Call center is non stop it just got numbing, they want us in there but we are on phones all day it’s pointless for us, we started 2 a week and it’s flu season of course everyone’s getting sick. Discouraging when I got the top performance grade every single year for my numbers and my attendance (no sick days or unscheduled all year every year, show up on time, provided feedback and help new employees) and just got meeting expectations. This new model will create employees that works hard to level down a bit to match what management portrays them as. No longer have the need to try hard anymore since it discouraged half the company.
