Pros

Great place to get a lot of experience on the manufacturing process of metal tubes for the automotive industry.

Cons

Numbers driven business. Owned by investors so it is all about the bottom line. Takes an act of congress to spend over 3k on anything. Doesn't matter if you request a machine that speeds up your manufacturing process. Almost impossible to get money for projects. Engineers beware......Understaffed, overworked, and held back because of financial restrictions. In the 3 years of employment the engineering department has been reduced from 11 to 5. This has created a reactive environment instead of proactive. Not enough manpower to do time studies, review procedures, fixture maintenance, proper work instructions for machines, employee training., etc.

Pros

It's a place to brush up your skills as a welder. And not sit at home

Cons

Pay, insurance, training, and the amount of people I've seen come and go is UNREAL!!!! at least 100 in a years time. New faces all the time. Company is closing the doors by the end of December

Pros

Plant is close to home, 13 mile commute is rather nice

Cons

High turnover, little appreciation to staff, ongoing financial woes, highly volatile market. Adjusted 401(k) match to annual - 4 days later announced purchase of 2 businesses. Known for "up-skilling" staff, allowing them to leave for better companies and wages while training more entry level individuals.
