Pros

- free pop, cereal - dogs in the office are fun - casual atmosphere

Cons

- company suffers from an intense case of "not invented here" syndrome and lots of wheels being reinvented, worst is the internal work management application (you're required to log hours in 15 minute increments, but the interface for doing this is hideous and counter-productive to the task) - management responds to any comparisons to places that do actually seem to fulfill the company mission of "be the best place in the world for nerds to work" with the excuse that the other company has a different business model that allows for that (if the business model doesn't actually allow you to be the best place, then either the mission is pointless or the business model should change) - they talk about engagement, but how can you be engaged on short-term projects where you're often only brought in for a few work items here and there (no sense of ownership)? - intense round of layoffs in late 2012 and early 2013, including web developers who had no clue they were about to be cut (if the reason for the cuts was to promote billable hours, why cut billable staff?)
