Stay Away!

Pros

None, to be honest. PTO is poor. Just below average everything else. Only good thing is, SOME co-workers are very nice people. Unfortunately, others are the opposite.

Cons

If you're a serious professional, please stay away, you will regret joining Net@Work. Don't be fooled by the 'promises' you will get when HR calls you or that hiring manager. Trust me, its not worth it. They are more after any means profits and bandages to client issues than anything innovate and forward thinking, robust and resilient. You will lose focus at this company. There is nothing to learn here or do here around new technologies. They do not offer you the opportunity create things, there is no path to growth as well except if after 3 years you're content with doing the same thing but a change of 'Title' assuming you're the only surviving among your original team. If you're just getting out of school maybe this will work, but for everyone else, stay away. Horrendous micromanagement, Compensation is mediocre at the very least, one of the worst in the Tri-State Area. I do not recommend this company. The so called 5 star reviews here are very, very suspicious. On the contrary, some one wrote "This company is backwards and clueless and by the looks of things , futureless." - I find myself agreeing with that statement. You get the picture, don't say you were not warned!.

Unless Desperate - stay away

Pros

There really are some good people that work here. Monthly free lunch and they do know how to throw a great holiday party

Cons

Way too much- first, any of these short positive reviews are written by the company. One owner is very quiet when it comes to dealing with employees and the other is just a degrading person who has to be the smartest person in the room. Has no problem telling Sales management to bail out of a client meeting, even if it is a formal presentation or a close, just because he may have a question that is on his mind at that moment. When I interviewed, and I heard the same from others- it was just bizarre when the one owner came in. Gave me the third degree about past salary at company I was at previously. Told me he had interviewed a number of people in the same role from past company that had told him their base was half of what I was telling him. And I knew that was completely false as we all came in with very similar bases. Also- in particular for your sales team. Treat them as professionals.

Pros

Most of the company is great to work with and for. you will meet, and in many cases learn from some of the most professional staff from all across the other practice areas. firmwide culture is very positive. My comments are specific to the practice I am currently part of.

Cons

Director level in our specific practice is disconnected at best with no real world solutions for the challenges they were brought on to solve for. In our case it was all about bringing on large clients without solving for how we scale to properly service them. This resulted in poor morale and a feeling of being always under resourced. With no plan or communication about how to solve for this.

Horrible work environment & culture

Pros

Co-workers are mostly good people Convenient office location

Cons

There's a reason why I was warned about working for "the brothers Solomon." What I witnessed supporting clients was that all those two (and top management) care about is making themselves money. Support was conditional upon it making them profit. The company sold software that was broken and didn't work. For me, it's untenable to take a customer's money and sell them a product that doesn't work.

Great Culture and Great People

Pros

I have worked for many companies, but Net@Work is the only one where the core values are lived by the employees on a daily basis. The executives set the company culture and live it by example. Intracompany communication is very good and it feels more like a family than a team. People treat each other with respect and are very supportive.

Cons

The internal IT infrastructure is improving, but needs more work. Some of the systems are pretty dated. That being said, the IT support for problems is very good.
