Pros

The TSE position was very challenging at times yet provided so much knowledge about various IT landscapes. I got to work with a lot of very knowledgeable folks and learned so much. If you're looking into a challenging & rewarding career, this would be your job !

Cons

Being a corporate type position it's subject to massive layoffs to keep the board happy with the numbers ! I got whacked due to this type of situation.
