I work for NetEase Games - 1st party studios. It's a really exciting time for the company as it expands a number of 1st party studios, such as Jar of Sparks and Jackalope - among others. The gamemakers are first rate and the support of NetEase has been incredible. Everyone is focused on making a top game to delight players. It feels like a startup but with a steady ship supporting everything.

Cons

It is early days at 1st party studios and you should be comfortable with an startup environment. That is not a con, it's a plus, but you must be ready for that and it's not for all. Very exciting.
