      Good company, bad outlook for most techs

      Pros

      I had a great experience while working at Netplanner. The office staff is friendly, management is helpful, and the other technicians are usually really easy to work with. A lot of positive attitudes all around. The company is family oriented and management always tries their best to get you 40 hrs, even if jobs are slow.

      Cons

      The outlook for technicians at Netplanner seems to be rather disappointing. It seems like the cap for 90% of hardworking technicians is just level 2 or 3 tech. It is extremely hard to go from a tech position to a management position just by working hard and giving it your all. It is very apparent that you must have some good connections with high level upper management to get out of the field.

      Pros

      Great company, great people, and it really is a family. People actually care about each other and like to see one another succeed, which is very simple but very powerful. It is what makes NetPlanner the best thing going.

      Cons

      As in any growing company, communication can suffer during busier times. Keeping up with the workload at times requires extra effort from everyone, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

      Pros

      NetPlanner is truly a great company to work for; their commitment to employees and customers is unprecedented. A large scale, small feel Company; NetPlanner Systems feels like a family.

      Cons

      The downsides of working at this company are very few and far between. No hard feelings, but if you can't commit to long hours and hard work, and good pay - then this isn't the place for you.
