Pros

1. If you want to succeed, you will succeed but you have to be willing to do the work as if you are in a startup enviroment. 2. Growth opportunities wont always be presented to you, you have to find them and go after them and they typically will outweigh the traditional growth paths you see in other companies this size. 3. You will be exposed to processes and decision making at the highest level which is a unique experience and allows you to learn and grow faster

Cons

1. In order to grow and thrive, you will have to make sacrifices and not everyone is willing to do that. 2. Pay can be low for employees in starting positions but will ramp quickly as you begin to grow

Clients and Employees Are Both Running for the Door

Pros

Remote work flexibility was real and one of the few genuine perks. That's about it.

Cons

Leadership instability is chronic - three CEOs in a few years, marketing rebuilt four times, sales organization three times. This isn't a rough patch, it's a pattern. The offshoring strategy is a direct mismatch with their customer base. Small U.S. businesses don't want foreign support models, and calling it "24/7 coverage" doesn't change what it actually is: cost cutting. Customers see through it and churn reflects that. Compensation is among the lowest in the HCM market. Benefits that were once a genuine differentiator have been quietly stripped away. When employees push back, leadership gaslights them into thinking it's a personal attitude problem rather than a structural one. The product looks like it hasn't been meaningfully updated in decades, which is a serious liability in a competitive HCM market where buyers have real options. Layoffs are frequent and dressed up as restructuring. The people who get pushed out tend to be the ones who wanted to do something ambitious. What stays is a political culture that rewards survival skills over actual ability - high school dynamics with adult salaries, except the salaries aren't even good. The "family business" branding is roughly a decade out of date. It's still in the marketing but bears no resemblance to the reality inside the company. If you're a prospective customer or employee, the churn numbers on both sides of the equation tell you everything you need to know.

Pros

Love the people I work with and if you get lucky, you can work under some truly inspiring managers. Used to be so fun to work here!

Cons

Always the same promises just to disappoint and fall short. Leadership continues to force this fake positivity upon each department and says how great this company is/going to be. We shout about how we have a 98% service rating from clients, yet they constantly complain about how they dont get help and miss our old service model. Netchex is clearly here for just the money and not for the people/customers.
