Pros

Great company on a fast growth track, great people to work with and leaders care about the associates, strong culture and supports the whole person, in and outside of work

Cons

Not as many upward growth opportunities due to flatter structure, but there is opportunity to create your own growth path if you take charge of your development

Pros

Been with NB for a little over 5 years. Starting off as an RSA, and worked my way up to Retail Store Manager. Learned a lot on my own, and asked for more which helped me grow. Benefits are incredible, and upper management does a fairly great job pushing you growth forward

Cons

Company is privately owned, SR Director and VP are very old school, and sometimes lack on making our company better. Example: all 5 years I worked there, we had to wear dark blue jean to work (its an athletic company). Dress code finally changed when upper management realized that stores were really following the dress code and were making sales. Hard to move up from a FT Team Leader to SM. A lot of stores do not hit the cap set to have an ASM position in store. Very hard to move up without taking on added work and asking a lot of questions
