Pros

New Home Star is on the cutting edge of understanding sales in the New Home Industry. Their executive management team is second to none and cares about their people. I have even had contact from executive leaders from across the country reach out to me within my first 60 days. This company cares about their people and care enough about my personal development to ask what my aspirations and goals are. I could not be more thrilled to be apart of such a dynamic organization.

Cons

As with any growing company their ability to touch you everyday is difficult, However, 48 hours do not go by without interaction from upper management.

Pros

Huge opportunity to grow within a sales role (not very usual in New Home Sales); fast paced & dynamic; a great place to develop and build a career (not just a job); expanding like CRAZY!; the people you work with truly CARE- as a former employee of a public company this is few and far between as there is more of a "what have you done for me lately" mentality, not so here. If you have good ethics, care a lot, and work hard, there is typically a spot on the bus for you at New Home Star

Cons

Being a young organization that is growing rapidly, there can be a lack of communication at times (however, the executive team is working hard to address this); not enough high talent managers YET so the executive team is spread pretty thin (again, this is being addressed with rolling out a new management development program which is awesome for young talent looking to grow in their career); we work A LOT and we work HARD (this isn't really a con for me as this is how I am wired, however, if you do not want to be a contributor to the company and want to just punch a clock, this probably isn't the place for you); not as many benefits as a public builder but as we grow and establish they are adding to the program which is great (this is the one area I would say lacks amongst a public builder- just for now, however).
