Pros

Defined career path, Experienced Management, Clear processes, Unrivaled sales training, Responsive Support team, great earning potential, eTraining platform, People development

Cons

As word gets out about New Home Star's results in various markets more and more builders are forming partnerships with them. This high paced growth creates its' own problems with personnel and operations. I'm not sure I would call that a bad thing. It's a great problem to have.

Pros

I currently work out of the support office in Illinois on builder marketing initiatives. Overall great culture with plenty of fun people and exciting projects. There is a ping pong table, dart board, and a basketball hoop in case we hit a creative block. Hours are flexible in the morning with either an 8:30 am or 9:30 am start, and a 4 pm or 5 pm finish respectively. Compensation is competitive with full medical/dental benefits included in my contract.

Cons

The company is growing in the triple digits every year since inception (2007), and there tend to be operational gaps, especially when higher level managers are relocated to new divisions.
