Pros

New Home Star has been great! The training they provide is top notch. Response to emails is quick and they are interested in helping you get to where you want/need to be.

Cons

Must work weekends if in sales, but that is standard in the industry.

Amazing Culture, amazing company that empowers employees to succeed. The training program is world class. The mission to become the best sales force in the world and the leadership is relentlessly pursuing it with growth of over 100% over the last few years. For young talent this is the place for you!

This is not a job for the lazy or un motivated so lace them up and get ready for the best career choice you will ever make.

Pros

None that I can think of unless your thing is costumes, candy and overall FLUFF

Cons

Where do I begin? New Home Star is the guru of used-car builder reps! From scripted sales pitches to balloon and bubble-gum popping sales meetings. Costumes and candy-throwing “managers” to training that would make anyone with anything above a GED convulse in laughter over the ridiculousness of it David Rice tries to paint himself as the Maserati of sales training, management and service. What, in reality he has done, is just parced together a bunch of sales books he read and then re-packaged. And the result is just…gross. When you develop an ounce of knowledge in this business, you realize he is just a hack who has made his business on empty promises. I say that because my builder got lured in by the promises…and then kicked them out as soon as the contract was over. If your interest is in a professional sales team, do not spend a dime with this company!!!!!!
