A lesson in how to ruin a good company(Avoid)
Pros
Nice central office, nice frontline people, free snacks and drinks and a decent social scene. Product is good but many competitors coming into the market.
Cons
Targets are unachievable, team Dublin has never hit its target. Only about 10% of the team are going to hit target in Dublin, from people I was on training with in US it sounds like its going to be the same for the global team. They offer a great OTE salary at the beginning but its completely unachievable. Benefits package is below standard for Dublin. They change the territories constantly so its impossible to develop any kind of relationship with customers. At one point they were celebrating when people hit 60%, they were offering double attainment on deals, so for every 1% you closed they gave you another 1% but you didnt get paid on it, the purpose was to have people on stage at the kick off who they could say hit 100% of quota even though they hadnt. Complete joke. Nobody is making any money here and the entire team are miserable, no inspirational leaders, all the new hires at management level are coming from places like oracle or salesfocre, very corporate, the new additions from oracle are very uninspiring. No innovative ways of addressing any of the problems, just keep doing the same thing over and over again. Most of my colleagues that I speak to are leaving very soon, as will I. Culture of company has been very degraded in the last 12 months and I put a lot of that down to the new president and loss of old CMO. People are even defecating on the floor in the mens toilets recently, very disgusting. Overall very bad company for career, very sorry I came here.
