      Great team, OK product, so-so management

      Pros

      If you want to get yourself in the business of observability, you can do it in New Relic. Pretty diverse clients, Okay product and excellent people will be your attraction.

      Cons

      First, you have to live with annual layoffs. If this doesn't discourage you, next, you will deal with constantly changing leads and priorities. So, constantly changing, that you do get disoriented every so often. If you are okay with that, know, you could be fired “at a whim” and the time between successfully passed performance review and PIP could be weeks. So, people in New Relic are essentially disposable headcount. If you are okay with that, New Relic otherwise is a great place to be.

      Pros

      Good people in some departments and they are trying to improve. Good work life balance.

      Cons

      It’s literally all men in leadership positions and all the men have female assistants. They hired a couple token women lately but the company strongly lacks diversity. It also lacks organization. They have no idea what they are going to do to grow and there is no direction.

      Some good people here that still care about doing well

      Cons

      This company has gone through a ton of turmoil. The turnover has been and continues to be massive. It is tough to even keep up with who has gone and who is left. The management and leaders are very inexperience and don't really care about their employees. The people team is a sad example of this significant lack of experience.
