NexJ Systems Response

Appreciate your input. I joined in Q4 last year and have had strong support from the senior management team to respond to employees issues. We are already seeing good results with a few new initiatives including: - Piloting a team-based bonus to tie people's work to rewards. - Launching a Spot Rewards program to recognize over and above performance. There is more coming and I am confident that progress will continue to be made. As you've mentioned we do have some great perks (gym membership, free food, sponsored clubs, etc.) that we continue to build on.

Pros

-> Overall its a pretty stable place -> A LOT of highly Intelligent people who are willing to share the knowledge and lend a hand when needed. -> location wise is pretty convienant, right over yorkmills subway station with go bus access. litterally just take the elevator down to get on either subway or bus. -> Pay is good.. -> There is recognition of work completed and it is rewarded. -> wide verity of work but i guess that would depend on the department you are in. -> Regular updates from the CEO so you are generally well informed as to whats coming up/how things are going. -> All of my direct managers have all been pretty enjoyable people to work with - no complaints there. While the company was going though a re-adjustment phase i was moved around a bit but.. that’s not totally abnormal from my own experiences.

Cons

-> Some of the tools used by NexJ are internally developed which means a bit of an additional learning curve and anything you master with those tools may not be directly transferable skills.
