Location and flexibility, you can walk into work whenever you want.

Cons

Upper management are basically really good friends. Anyone outside of the circle gets treated like crap. The culture there sucks, they believe the later you stay the better quality work you provide. For the year that I worked there some nights staff didnt leave until 10pm. They def work harder instead of smarter.

Meaningful Work, Professional Atmosphere

Pros

Nexamp is entirely focused on growing clean energy and making it accessible to everyone. It's gratifying to work at a company with a mission that feels especially important right now. The company is also well-run and professional in its approach so you get the dual benefit of meaningful work done in a way that feels efficient and impactful. As the company has grown, I've seen a lot of improvement in people management. We just finished annual performance assessments and there's a big focus in the company right now on hiring the right people and further diversifying our team. Senior management is highly engaged and driving this initiative forward. The office atmosphere is great; it's a new, beautiful space and the team enjoys spending time together. Great people to work with.

Cons

Nexamp is transitioning to a company with a significant B2C community solar business. It's a great opportunity but it comes with some growing pains as we need to develop new teams and systems to deliver an optimal customer experience. It's a good place for people who want to build and be challenged.

Working alongside industry leading experts who actively support each other in common goals. True "Open Door" policy - the executive team is friendly and genuinely interested in all employees success. Health Benefits are top notch

Cons

The solar industry is constantly changing and market dynamics are unique across all markets. Being flexible and ok with changing targets, project types, and strategy is essential. In addition, the job demands more than a 9-5 schedule when a particular project demands it.
