Growing pains

Pros

Growing quickly. Lots of changes. Management is engaged in improving retention and improving conditions and products. Lots of opportunities.

Cons

Growing so fast the organization often stumbles. Too many new/inexperienced people and too many mangers who don't know what or how to do their jobs. Lots of things get 'lost in the shuffle."

The Most Unprofessional Company with a Dim View for Survival

Pros

Good location in Austin, Tx

Cons

This company (Austin,Tx location) lack ethics. Managers make inappropriate jokes and comments with their employees, causing a very uncomfortable work environment. If you are in the manager's "click", your quality of work does not matter, the blame is simply placed on the new person. New employees that do not follow the childish, unprofessional work environment are isolated, and shortly dismissed given the reason,"You are not a fit". For those looking to join a professional reputable company stay away from NextGen Healthcare/QSI.

Pros

Office location in Austin. Nice furniture. Some good employees who really make efforts to help clients and co-workers.

Cons

Inconsistent HR practices. "Good ol' boy" leadership tolerates poor performers who have been there a long time. Lack of professionalism constantly. Poor support of customers. Builds are "thrown together" and have many functional issues. Clients pay the price for installs that are rushed and not tested well. Too many last second finishes. Need more staff and a way to train them.
