Pros

People on individual teams are usually great to work with.

Cons

Some teams just run on 'auto-pilot', and don't really provide value to the company. Managers rarely read emails because they think they are too 'important'. Account managers never seem to learn procedure. Everything is always a rush - nothing process-wise is ever improved. Software developers have no real-world experience with software.
