Pros

Great people to work with, good product, free lunch Fridays, and good job training.

Cons

This company is not well run. I was here for a year in sales and have never seen so much turnover in a department. The reason for this is the CEO's highly unsound hiring strategy. They simply do not enough leads for each sales person. Talk to the top reps there and you will still hear that as the predominant problem. The reason they keep hiring salespeople is actually because they keep hiring salespeople and diminishing the average opportunity each person can have. The sales leadership there has caused several of my close friends to leave. Managers and sales people are highly unhappy there. I was there for over a year, so I can attest to that. This company wants to pretend that it's one of the best places to work in Phoenix. Talk to anyone who has done sales, Sales Management, and customer support. I guarantee you will hear a very different story. You guys really need to stop over hiring because you are killing your sales department. They also gave $800 on my last paycheck to a different rep, which I had to take up with them to get back. Fun stuff.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and perspective. I want to take a moment and address some of your concerns. Over the past two years, our company has grown exponentially, as we are one of the fastest growing technology companies in Arizona. In order to continue this growth and trajectory we must continue to hire account executives and grow our teams. However, we may not always make the right choice in hiring and not everyone is cut out for our environment. You mention we have high turnover, and this is somewhat accurate in the first 6 months of employment with us. However, after 6 months, our turnover is less than 10% YOY. These are facts that we openly share with everyone throughout the hiring and new hire training process. We provide all of our sales team members with the tools, resources, and support to achieve their goals. Reaching the goal and putting those resources into action is the responsibility of each account executive. Some will rise to the challenge, but others will not make it. We are also very open about our lead statistics. Nextiva will generate enough leads for each account executive to reach 60-75% of his or her quota. The rest of their sales will come from prospecting through our database of potential customers who have reached out to us in the past and, for whatever reason, did not move forward with us. Again, the tools, resources, and support are there for everyone to perform, but it is up to each individual to succeed. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and hope that you are able to find a company that meets your needs.

Pros

- Great company culture, and positive work environment - Good pay if you develop your sale's skills and learn the product inside and out. It's not hard, but requires effort on your part. The training is thorough and you have a training foundation that is build for success. I have seen coworkers who were struggling and turned it around within several weeks of changing their sale's approach. - It's not a corporate structure company, but more of a start-up company in regard to the environment. Everyone treats each other with respect, and no one has power trips which I have seen in corporate america.

Cons

-Fast growing company that is growing at a rapid rate. This is not a con, but just a reality. It's fascinating to be part of the growth movement.
