Pros

Friendly Co-Workers, Free Breakfast on Mondays, and Free lunch on fridays, Great location, easy to access, and great company atmosphere

Cons

No real chance for advancement, Applied many times to different departments was turned down multiple time. Issues with payment, The new agents and tenured agents make the same ammount of money, and you feel like your stagnent, with no way out.

Pros

I loved the culture of the company. I love learning and I love the challenges. Good benefits, constant learning, motivation. It was fast paced and wasnt where I wanted to be long term, The office was clean and the drive was good for me.

Cons

Can't transition into that I dont see anything bad, I thought the people were chill and good to be around. I have been passionate about cars and didnt feel like nextiva and tech was going to be right for me for the long run. I had to get a job when I submitted my resume to nextiva but then got the chance to work more more on cars so I took it.

Pros

The first 3 months is nice. They make you feel like you'll be successful and the culture really seems great. Training was decent which makes you believe this isn't a typical hot cakes job.

Cons

Too many cons to list them all but here's a few. Everything at Nextiva is weighted. The good leads go straight to their favorites and the rest get sent to all of the temporary account executives. What do I mean by temporary account executives? They are mass hiring. They hire 10+ AE twice a month and fire just as many once those ones get out of training. The ones they fire are the employees who are around the end of their ramp up period. The company gives you 3 months of ramp up. During this time you get 100% commission and you work the small small business leads and fax sales. You take these serious until you're in your last month of ramp up and realize that at this pace, without some good leads you'll never hit goal. Then comes the performance improvement plan. It's the best way to fire you and not offer unemployment. Put you on a performance improvement plan that is unobtainable and give you three write ups. When you're on your way out, the new guy in training who's trying their best to close a fax sale is waiting to take your spot. This cycle never stops. For example in my time there the sales floor stayed around 100 AE. They hire around 20 and fire around 20 a month. If they didn't they wouldn't have enough seats. Why would they do this? Well think about it. They sell a service. Anything you sell is recurring. The company continues to profit off your sales when you're long gone. So why do they do this? Why are they hiring to fire? They're doing it so that someone will work the small accounts that the favorites don't waste their time on. Who are these favorites and how do you become one? You can't. They're tenured reps who started when the floor was 40 or less AE. You won't make it past 6 months before they fire you. During that 6 months, you will work your butt off to not even come close to goal when the tenured reps will double your sales in 1 sale that was placed right in their lap. This isn't complicated sales. It's transactional sales while wearing a collard shirt. If you want a job for 6 months. Take it. You'll enjoy at least 4 months of your time there.
