Pros

The people at Nextiva are awesome, and leadership cares about their team. Nextiva goes above and beyond to show their support of employees and their well being. Health and wellness remains a strong focus, with great medical benefits, a health coach on-site and company sponsored group runs. Keep all of these thing up Nextiva!

Cons

For those looking to punch in and punch out, Nextiva isn't the place for you. It's an engaged workplace that has high expectations of employees. Not exactly a con!

Pros

The people. There are many great people here who are easy to develop relationships with. Used to be a fantastic culture too. Flexibility, they work with you on family issues. Fast-paced, with lots going on so you don't get bored.

Cons

The culture has been dropped. There's little to no budget for activities, used to do lunches and everything for whole company but now it's a fight to see things done for any department but Sales. Some departments are good at employee recognition but it is not company-wide. Should be on a larger scale and accomplishments should be celebrated not minimalized. The Channel team is over-promoted. They throw their weight around and ignore that we're all supposed to work together. A couple of the CMs talk down to employees, telling them that it's below their job and that they're busy in the field when asked for help. Or they just ignore you. Communication is not good. Upper management plays their cards close to their chest and don't share information. Departments are siloed and don't share changes. New products are deployed without being properly vetted. Frontline employees are left to pick up the pieces and chaos while upper management is singing the praise of how great it is. And pay. Nextiva has brought up pay but it is still painfully low, unless you're sales or top management.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It's great to hear you enjoy the flexibility in your role, the fast-paced environment, and working with your peers. Our Nexties truly are amazing! We also appreciate the feedback and input on culture, which is extremely important to us here at Nextiva. We encourage recognition and appreciation of accomplishments throughout the company using our Bravo! platform. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, we highly recommend taking a look. It’s disappointing to hear you haven't had the best time working with other departments. We value teamwork and invite you to share any additional details with the People Team at teamnextiva@nextiva.com. If you are comfortable doing so, we also recommend working with your manager to address some of these concerns. We appreciate your hard work and thank you for being part of Team Nextiva.

Pros

Remote work , thats about it.

Cons

Not sure where to begin: - Support is outsourced to Kyiv Ukraine - Sales is in process of being outsourced to Phillipines. - 2 of 8 sales teams have hit team quota 2 times (total) in the last 24 + months - Platform launched without proper QA , simply setting up a single phone can be a laboorious experience ( expect up to 3 hours) - Platform launched with known Class A issues because 'Thats what Apple does, they fix it later' , news flash youre not Apple you dont have a moat or any brand name cache. - lots of upper management change, saw 3 different VP of sales in 3 years time. 3 directors in the same period as well. - Folks refusing 'promotions' becuase a promotion means a higher quota with no additional resources to hit it. - And for sales folks , it will be almost purely transactional, add on orders from your customers will not count to your quotas .

We're sorry to hear you had a disappointing experience. Nextiva is one of the fastest growing tech companies in Arizona, and with that comes a lot of change! We do want to point out that our support is not outsourced in Kiev, we actually have a portion of our Nextiva team that is located there. When it comes to hitting quota in the past two years, our teams have had a lot of success! We thank you for the feedback and have shared these comments with our management team so we can better improve the employee experience. If you have any additional feedback, please email the People Team at people@nextiva.com.
