Pros

There is NEVER a dull moment @ MCH! If you enjoy a busy environment and the work that goes along with high expectations, this is a GREAT place work.

Cons

Leaders in the Organization are not always open to hearing about and addressing the real challenges of day to day operations.

Pros

Great place to work. Whether you directly deal with patients or not, you still feel like you make an impact in the lives of the children and families we serve. The atmosphere is really family like and you can look forward to seeing smiling faces every day. Clinicians provide great quality work. Support teams provide excellent support to help clinicians do their exceptional work. Benefits are some of the best I've seen out there! For example, I just gave birth a few months ago and my entire bill pre and post pregnancy was $200. Great onsite amenities like dry cleaning service, credit union, pharmacy and more. I can't say enough, MCH really provides so much for its employees.

Cons

All levels of leadership needs to be more present and engaged. It should be lead by example so they more than anyone should exemplify the MCH Way.

Great mission but challenging environment

Pros

Department management is very supporting and encouraging. Salaries and benefits are competitive. Leadership is making obvious efforts to improve quality and consistency.

Cons

In some areas, Managers and Directors come and go with alarming speed. It's very difficult to build good working relationships because of this. There are very tall silos and it is often difficult to gain consensus and get a project started. This is also a very political environment. Almost from day one I've received warnings about who is connected to who and what hot buttons to stay away from if I want to succeed here.
