Pros

1. Creating and developing a community model is a daunting task, but NEI has taken on the challenge of creating a school environment that is best for student success and most like the real work world. 2. Teachers and students have access to the latest Apple technology, which is incredibly helpful for modern class work, collaboration, and even classroom management. 3. This is the first school in which I received a performance bonus! I was fortunate enough to get two bonuses; one for attendance, one for academic growth. 4. Giving teachers the autonomy to do what is best for their students/classroom environment (while still meeting school/work expectations) has been a huge plus. 5. Knowing that fellow teachers and administrators are there to help and support in many different ways has made it an enjoyable place to come to every day.

Cons

1. Being a part of a first year school will always have its set backs, but I look forward to seeing how NEI will learn from the experiences we faced this year. 2. I was going to say that there are no sports or sports facilities, but it was just announced that sports will be coming within the next school year!

Pros

The work environment encourages creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. I’ve had opportunities to grow professionally, take on meaningful projects, and feel truly valued as part of the team. It’s refreshing to be part of a company that not only talks about making a difference but actually lives it every day.

Cons

As a small, close-knit company, the workload can intensify during key points in the school year—but it also creates great opportunities for collaboration, growth, and making a difference.
