Hard work, unequal pay, big reward

Pros

Students are great- dedicated families- very dedicated coworkers- committed principals- data-driven instruction- room to move up, and room to obtain higher ed

Cons

Too many students leave or are expelled, issues with teacher pay and administrator pay still need to be resolved, very long hours, little incentive for those who wish to remain life-long teachers
