Pros

Company is very open about opportunities, internal growth and promotions. The company as a whole seems to be a great place for a career or job.

Cons

At the Rack I was employed at, I felt that sales associates were viewed as a tool to make the management staff look powerful and successful. I didn't feel valued as an employee and felt often pushed aside and disrespected. I did not feel as though this particular Rack forged in manager/ associate relationships, which is why there was a HUGE disconnect between the two.

Pros

Nice entry level pay, decent work conditions.

Cons

Management is phony and weak on training. Videos are shown to new hires with upper management touting wonderful things about the philosophy but no real nuts and bolts training. Employees are told they are valued, but know they are a dime a dozen. The longer one is working there, the more they earn, thus they become a liability due to costs. Middle management just was slashed after inventory. Management seems oblivious to the fact that employees need to make a living.
