      Stable work. Low stress and relaxed environment. Dress is fairly casual. Schedule is flexible. Hours are sane. Free coffee. Nationally Recognized Name.

      Cons

      Dinosaur technology: Company builds to the status quo instead of pushing the use of advanced technology. Slow to embrace new ideas. Technically inept management: Managers of technical projects have little understanding of day-to-day challenges faced by their employees. Process Heavy: As a government contractor there is a lot of bureaucracy and busy-work to deal with.

      Limited opportunities for advancement Almost impossible to transfer within the company They put you working at a government customer site and forget about you--out of sight, out of mind Seem to favor young people, who only work there for 2 years and then move on

      Hard to differentiate yourself for promotions, some management treats young employees like children, many managers/directors are comfortable in their positions doing the bare minimum and have to be constantly nagged to do anything more
