Pros

Good benefits.. but that's about it.

Cons

DO NOT join the finance or Corproate FP&A team here at Nutanix! The mid-level leadership team is horrible and has really weird expectations. Management expects you to work 16 hour days, in-office work on the weekend and no PTO even for family functions. Mid-level Management on the non-sales side lacks emotional intelligence and has no empathy for any of their employees. Extremely two faced and talks smack behind their employee’s back. Working in the Finance team at Nutanix was the worst experience in my entire career. Don’t waste your time with this finance team. You were warned.

Terrible, Terrible company to work for as a female (Amazing company for Males)

Pros

The company really tries to make employees happy with perks, food, events For the most part, employees are very bright & excited Company is constantly providing seminars to improve learning There is a real desire to get things done & make a difference in the market Leaders appear to be accessible and knowledgable about the ins/outs of the business

Cons

The discrimination faced at Nutanix is insiduous, nobody will tell you that as a female you are viewed as less competent. Then over time, you will find that your accomplishments are not as recognized as the other males in your team. Your male colleagues will be given more advancement opportunities while you are expected to just be happy at your current position/salary. You will then find out that you are getting paid WAY less than your colleagues at your same level. How this company has not been sued by the Federal Government for disparity in pay is beyond me.

Pros

Leader in HCI according to Forrester and the Magic Quadrant.

Cons

Poor leadership, horrible rep churn and too many management changes within the channel sales / support organization specifically. They rip you off at every corner, Including becoming a new parent. I worked very hard developing my set of partners, and stayed up until midnight many nights (by my own choice) to get ahead, when it was getting close to my first child being born. My calendar was packed, and my top partners were doing great. When I came back from my paternity leave, my top accounts were stripped from me without discussion, notification, or acceptable reason. I was told a field rep was promoting a few accounts, and needed a few in territory accounts or he was going to lose his job. They took my top partners and gave them away for that reason (he never ended up losing his original accounts) and I got placed on an impossible PiP for it, being told to Instantly load 400% of quota in pipeline opportunities within a week (I’m in partner development, not sales..) or I’d be fired. Needless to say, I was reduced from 200%+ to quota down to 12% overnight, and fired the next week. This is a completely unethical company that did not value me as a person, or as a brand new dad.
