Pros

- Always busy, varied work, plenty of opportunities to learn - Reasonable progression - Good holiday allowance (if you can take it)

Cons

- Zero transparency on bonus scheme, has become markedly worse and scaled back whilst I've been at OH - Massive gossip culture - Other once good perks scaled back, such as flexi-time, perks offering has become much lower as the business has grown - Strong performers will be given double or triple a reasonable workload, whilst weaker performers will get away with doing much less - Expect a very compromised work-life balance, there is none! - Very limited support from the senior team, and is often poor support - Very stretched resourcing, lean management style means less support across the board for projects - Training has only been introduced in the last year or so, and is still very poor quality, they rely on hiring smarter people lower down who will figure things out themselves - The amount of overtime you'll do to get promoted is not worth it, they'll get an extra month or two of work from you over the course of a year and not give anything in return - You'll get taken for granted if you're there too long - Since the Amulet take over, finances have been solely front of mind and with the CEO leadership change you can expect resource to get leaner and even more people starting leave as they get burnt out and taken for granted

Pros

- Some excellent people to work with - Depending on your team, can be a great team atmosphere

Cons

- People in senior positions who are not doing their jobs and are shamelessly riding on the backs of more junior employees - Lack of progression and poor pay, allow people to remain at low non-competitive pay while requiring them to perform well outside their stated role - No transparency, losing people at an alarming rate to both resignations and redundancies - Seemingly unable or unwilling to hire people to fill massive gaps in resource - Openly lying to clients about the makeup of teams to conceal huge issues with retention of people

Thank you for your feedback. We welcome constructive feedback that allows us to focus on improvements. 2023 was a difficult year for many in our industry and we saw our clients making many radical changes in order to weather the storm. Unfortunately we did have to make redundancies as a result of that storm like so many others in our industry. Change is the only constant in any business and there were changes we needed to make in order for the business to be able to excel in the future. We are investing in technology, we are investing in leadership development in 2024 and we are implementing a job architecture framework allowing us to define career paths. This is all good news to help us along our journey towards creating an extraordinary environment for our many talented people. That said, we recognise that it has been a challenging year in 2023 for everyone and the introduction of leadership forum's, town halls and new employee survey tooling will help us to improve our ability to keep our people informed and our ability to listen.

Pros

You can sometimes end up working with a nice team

Cons

Pay and promotional freezes across the board, and so no room for progression. I've had experience with terrible managers, some of them are excellent. I would not bother applying here.

Thank you for your feedback, we welcome constructive feedback on areas we can improve as this allows us to hear all forms of feedback that we can act upon. In 2024 we are investing significantly in a leadership program and management essentials program to help our leaders. 2023 was a difficult year for many in our industry and in the Pharma industry resulting in many challenges to face, we have weathered the storm by taking some actions that at times were painful but necessary and our focus as a result for 2024 is around employee engagement now that the storm is stabilising.
