Pros

There are some good people here. Pay and benefits are competitive, and there is opportunity to be involved in the community.

Cons

Many of the managers in I.T. view employees as objects to further their own careers. Competent I.T. professionals are forced out in favor of yes-men who tell management what they want to hear.

This is a boys club

Pros

I worked with some nice people.

Cons

This is a boys club and a selective one. Unfortunately, hard work, long hours, and any dedication to your job (and doing it well) will go unnoticed, unless your in this said club. The people who speak up to make things better, get shut down. There was once a 'we care for our employees' that is gone. There is no work-life balance in the big or smaller businesses across Openlane. You are micromanaged and told to be the best - with leadership having little to no trust in your capabilities or decisions. They pride themselves in sending out employee surveys. The surveys are a joke. Its been a while since any results have been shared with employees, why is that?

Pros

I don't have any to share.

Cons

How do I count the ways? They buy companies when they can't beat them. They don't integrate the systems and software (from new acquisitions) making the employee and customer experience a disaster. They have no financial sense at auction and from a corporate standpoint. Nepotism runs deep. Females are not equals. Marketing is disrespected throughout the company. The EVP of marketing has no business running the department. He's an attorney turned corporate communication guy with no experience running a creative marcom team.
