Pros

Everyone is so nice and respectful. I have been here almost 2 years and I am yet to meet someone in the halls that doesn't speak. I was looking for a home, not just a job. I found that here at Lafayette General. All of my leaders genuinely care about their staff. Administration cares. Its not an act. Highest quality of care I have seen in a very long time.

Cons

When I think about cons, there is really nothing I can think of. I have been both a patient and I am an employee. Ive seen both sides and I cant find anything.

Pros

We are an academic setting serving the community of Acadiana. Our daily work is rewarding and reminds every employee daily, why they chose healthcare. The entire UHC team(Administrators, providers, support staff) is focused on quality outcomes and achieving the highest standards in patient care. This is evidenced by our patients' loyalty to our facility and staff. There is no better team, both patients and staff refer to us as "family".

Cons

We are still restoring services and revising workspaces. Equipment and facilities are also in the process of upgrades, so change is a constant which can be challenging in the short term (But is highly positive in the long run!).
