Pros

Growth and development are part of every employment experience. Employee Service Standards of Behavior outline expectations that appeal to anyone with a desire to make a difference. For a nurse, there is nothing comparable to working for an organization that puts patients first.

Cons

The national nursing shortage is challenging our ability to recruit and retain the highest quality personnel to meet staffing goals, but the LGH leadership team continues to have innovative approaches to external environmental challenges.

The culture that had been created-- One of respect, supportiveness, vibrancy, integrity. The high quality of care that is delivered to every patient! This organization continues to invest in their high performers.

Cons

I have yet to identify a true con to working for the Lafayette General Heath System! I would find it challenging to work elsewhere.
