Lafayette General has good benefits, great environment to work in. Everyone is friendly and great to work with.

Cons

You work a lot of overtime, not much of a work life balance.

Pros

The general orientation was seemingly wonderful. A lot of small benefits are offered to employees. The company seems to portray that it cares about its employees.

Cons

The department of which I worked was extremely dysfunctional and unsafe. I did not have access to supplies that I needed to do my job successfully. They were in a locked file cabinet in a locked office due to "cost." Serious errors occurred on a daily basis and incident reports were done. Leaders of the department offer no guidance nor do they have any concern in fixing erroneous procedures.

Good Experience and you learn alot.

Cons

Not enough pay for the amount of work done, and responsibilities placed on you. Management was horrible. No room for growth.
