Pros

Lunches provided usually once a week. Quite a bit of loyal and amazing colleagues to work with. Great location.

Cons

Terrible micro management in all departments (not including the CIO and COO). Too much favoritism and it's obvious. Benefits are severely lacking compared to other companies in such a expensive area to live.

Pros

They offer a very good 401k match

Cons

The upper management has been at this company pretty much since the beginning. They do not listen to anyone, they do things their own way, and when things go wrong, they look for someone to blame. The culture at this company is toxic. There is constant blame. There are constant fires to put out. The code base is atrocious, loaded with technical debt that is never addressed. Turnover is very high. There are some very good devs here, but they are not allowed to really make a difference. Middle management is constantly changing processes or censuring devs in the hope of fixing issues instead of doing what needs to be done. Projects are started and abandoned. There is no coherent vision for the company and no long term roadmap.

Pros

Weekly lunch provided. Weekly Starbucks provided on most weeks.

Cons

Like someone already mentioned, the timekeeping here is really strict, you have to clock in on the dot no matter what. A few seconds late and you will get a talkin' to by the Managers. This place is run like an elementary school, they treat the developers like they are children. The technology stack is outdated and the code base is really bad. Also, hard to collaborate here. Even though it is an open office layout, people are extra hard to talk to, because management is so strict. This causes rapid employment turnover rate.
