Pros

Having the challenge and experience by working on complex projects that contributed company's daily business significantly.

Cons

While working hard, worrying about your future with the concern of not being able to grow for too long no matter how hard you try while seeing the upper level management and executives being promoted and awarded over and over again.

Pros

You might get to work with good people. Office Depot requires a lot of communication and team effort, so it's easy to get to know your coworkers.

Cons

The utter incompetence of corporate management is astounding. Policy changes, poor program implementations (and cancellations), hideously stupid incentives, and unreasonable expectations make many associations wonder if corporate knows anything about the stores.

Worst job ever

Pros

Not one thing about this job can be considered a “pro”

Cons

The worst job I have ever had. Absolutely miserable place to work, miserable environment, miserable pay. I have an amazing job now and look back at my (short) time at Office Depot with absolute shock. The company is failing horribly and will most likely be out of business within the next 10/15 years. The average customer is a demanding and senile 50+ year old who expects the 18-30 year old employees to immediately know niche and ultra-specific office supplies, forms, and electronics. Don’t even get me started on the print department. If you are unlucky enough to be forced into this job, don’t be surprised when they attempt to stick you in print. Do not even bother showing up, seriously. It is by far the worst experience I have had in my young adult life. The software is outdated, the print department is understaffed (at every location), the customers are unbelievably rude and unwilling to understand the simple concepts of a queue, line, or a wait. They also expect Office Depot to produce ultra high quality print products, as if that was their one and only speciality. They will yell, scream, and berate you for not having 100+ business card templates or for being unable to print a life-size cutout in 4k ultra high-definition. This is seriously, and I mean *seriously* the worst job I have ever had.
