Great people to work with! Everyone I've encountered enjoys their job and are constantly looking for ways to make Old Dominion and themselves better. Overall a great place to work.

Cons

Don't express conservative opinions. Super liberal campus (shocker), as such, the conservative viewpoint is either attacked or dismissed. The parking situation is not ideal either. There are a lot of students, staff and faculty and not enough spaces. Additionally, employees have to pay for their own parking passes.

There are no pros to working here other than a DCJS Basic Police Officer Certification

Cons

This place is being run into the ground by a Chief of Police who doesn't know how to take care of er employees. She overloads ALL of her employees. 27 officer have left in 4 years. the department is severely understaffed.
