Cons

Need to get into the current times. There could be a lot more remote positions but they are still stuck a couple decades back. Need pay increases to meet cost of living increases. Lose good staff as they don't promote within, instead choose friends for positions.

Coworkers are great! Er Staff is amazing.

Cons

Poor management, unrealistic expectations from other departments, high turnover, staff is under appreciated, lied to, paid poorly, workload is too great due to lack of staff and high turn over. High stress, little reward.

Pros

OMC does a ton of good for its community. It's the only healthcare option for lots of people in the county, and there are so many people there who genuinely want to help the hospital thrive. Helping the hospital run effectively is a worthy mission, one which kept me working there as long as I could.

Cons

The work environment is hostile and sour. Management is completely unwilling or unable to recognize the issues this workplace has with culture; incompetent managers are protected out of favoritism, and anyone who criticizes leadership gets ostracized for pointing out the obvious. There's a reason turnover is so high there.
