Pros

While there, I really enjoyed the engineering team I worked in. Great, committed people.

Cons

Executive leadership was polluted with politics, and the recent changes in 2023 only made things worse. Omnicell's culture and bread and butter was heartland high quality manufactureing of products that made peoples lives better, It is now a revolving door California tech bro company all about quarterly results and pump and dumps, resulting is wholesale RIF's with massive hireing only 3 months later. Will be lucky to see 2025.

Pros

The company pays well and allows you to work on some really fun projects.

Cons

Once the project you are working on is getting close to delivery start looking for a new job. There is no loyalty to long term employees even if you consistently work 65+ hours a week for months to years at a time. Once your perceived usefulness has expired or you "cost" too much you are gone. There are yearly reduction in work force because of a need to "reduce costs". Then within weeks the "rehiring" starts and the number of employees by the end of the year is higher than when the RIF occurred.

Pros

Great Cause to help pharmacist

Cons

Lot of Silos between the groups. Each group looking after their goal and no cross-functional agreement. Upper level management was let go and the current leader in Pittsburgh is bringing his people who are not great leaders and are just yes boss men. Culture is: my way or the highway at the leadership level. They will pay you well to get you in but then will find ways to not give you a raise. People are afraid of the Leader, no plan to communicate with the team on long term goals. Pittsburgh & Mountain View Leadership are eyeing each others job so no cooperation between the teams.
