Management arent all on the same page and consistent. Not alot of room for growth,if you dont do it yourself or you aren't a favored employee.

If you are new to Workday don't expect to get any hands on training... You're going to spend a week at headquarters reading and watching training videos. If you're remote then you'll get another week at home "reading/learning" the OSV workday how to guide and preforming step by step tasks in the system. You then get sent to Atlanta, Chicago or California for two weeks with the intention of completing and passing the Workday HCM certification course. If you don't pass then they will be VERY quick to usher you out the door. When I heard "if you don't pass then we'll need to talk about you not working here" during the interview process really should have been my red flag not to move forward, especially for someone having no Workday experience like myself. In all honesty my four weeks with OSV was very disappointing so if you are new to Workday def look at a different partner that will help prepare you better for the two week Workday HCM certification class. Also, watch out for the background check... I was almost denied employment because I couldn't produce an offer letter from a company I worked for eight years ago! I also had to produce pay stubs from the position I was in and that in my mind is a bit intrusive, verify I work there with a phone call, no need to give them your pay stub like I did.

OSV discriminates against seniors in all aspects, medical, STD, and hiring. They offer no coaching and do not promote from within. They offer very little training and very little encouragement. What they do offer is long hours with more to do than you have time to do it so work-life balance doesn’t exist. Good employees don’t stay because they are not treated well!

Lower leadership needs additional training to know what their staff does on the day to day and be more present of their team instead of in so many meetings.

If accepting a job that requires a Workday certification, you are required to pass if you want to keep your job. But they have you start two weeks before and give you all of the information to study before you go to class (other companies just send you off to training). They don't hand hold you but they do give you all of the information you need. If you have questions ask. They don't give you a second shot if you fail while most other companies do if your score is close enough.

If something new comes along you have to do self training and find your own training material.

There is a regime in the payroll and tax areas that make it difficult to do a good day's work. People are rude all the time. Basic employment rules only apply to some people/managers. Very little respect for employees in general, but especially those who actually want the company to be successful. People are hired without proper experience and everyone else suffers for lack of knowledge and training.
