Customers yell at you for no reason or reasons out of your control. Most of the time back to back calls. Lots of pressure to take calls fast as you can, customer service is not important here but don't be rude they will fire you.

My office is always cold to the point of wanting heated slippers and extra sweaters just for work. The pay is well below what it should be for this position. The benefits are expensive and don't provide adequate coverage beyond the Employee-only level. The scheduling is in constant flux (see above comment about flexibility), which is both a pro and a con. I list it here because I don't like my schedule to change weekly. My 'manager' is only in the office with me a couple of hours a day, and I honestly don't trust him to do more than adjust my schedule. I've also had way too many days of "Can you stay late/come in? We're really busy!" More of that here than I had at any retail job, just one more way that the flexible scheduling is a con.
