Pros

The HR team is writing fake positive reviews.

Cons

Leadership is toxic at its best During this corona scare, the CEO is telling people they HAVE to come to the office and does not want anyone working from home. He does not trust anyone outside his inner circle to get their jobs done and doesn't allow anyone to stay safe and healthy. His health and his bottom line are FAR more important than anyone else's. His management is constantly monitoring people and it feels like big brother is watching you all the time. For a privacy company, they really don't seem to value people's privacy.

OneTrust takes the health and safety of its employees very seriously. We responded to this crisis quickly and established an internal COVID Task Team to closely monitor the ongoing developments of COVID-19 (coronavirus), take the necessary precautions for the safety of our team members around the world and to educate our employees on the status of the disease, tips for prevention, work travel implications, changes to our travel policy and more. In addition to the guidance provided to our global team, we always encourage employees to raise any concerns and work 1:1 with each employees who requests additional flexibility or support. On March 16th, we implemented a temporary telework arrangement for our office in Melbourne, Australia and within days implemented across all of our global offices. At this time, every OneTrust employee has the option to work remotely. In order to make sure our team has options available to them, we continue to do everything we can to maintain a safe work environment for those who prefer to work from the office. In addition to the preventive measures already in place, we scheduled on-going specialized cleaning services with a company whose staff is specifically trained in Pandemic Cleaning. We also challenged ourselves to go beyond simply offering a telework option and focused on how we can best support our employees, retain our culture and maintain a strong sense of connectedness while our employees are working remotely. Within two days we put the right IT plan in place (even approving employees to take additional IT assets like monitors home with them), rolled out training on best practices and shared our company strategy in a global all hands. We will continue to put our people first and do everything we can to help each person navigate and succeed in these unprecedented times. If there is anything more we can do to support you, please contact HR.

Fast-paced, dynamic environment

Pros

You will have a lot of autonomy in your day to day. There isn't any micromanagement but there is the expectation that you'll hit the deliverables for your role. Tons of opportunity as the company continues to grow. It's obvious that the leadership team is reinvesting in the team as growth allows but for some people may be this process moves slower than they would like.

Cons

The company's success up to this point is due to their adaptability/agility in the privacy space. This can lead to shifting priorities and also requires a very fast-paced, dynamic environment. That type of environment is not for everyone.

Thanks for letting us know about your experience with the team! We take pride in providing employees with the power to grow their careers while contributing to a rapidly expanding category of software. Similarly, we love bringing individuals aboard that are comfortable setting goals and priorities autonomously. That requires agility and flexibility which in many ways reflects the way we work with our customers — move fast and adapt even faster. Thanks again for your feedback!
