Pros

This company is great to work for. There are a lot of opportunities for growth within the company and for personal development. The culture of the company is is very collaborative with a great working environment. The company allows for many opportunities and exposure to many different facets of the business, which is not commonly seen at many companies. Employees really have an opportunity to grow and take ownership in the company and their careers. Leadership is excellent and cares about their employees growth and ensuring employees are placed in positions that are a good fit for the company and the employee. Employees can and are encouraged to take ownership in their contributions.

Cons

Things some may seem as a con, I see as pros. We work hard, but the work is fun. We are supported and encouraged to have a good work/life balance.

Pros

Leading and very good software in GDPR privacy management. GDPR law compliance in demand. New market.

Cons

Accepted a position in their London office to sell into a specific region which I have always sold into for the past few years due to my native language, network and experience, only to find out that after I started I had to sell into a a totally different region. What’s the point? CEO is childish, bullying and needs to grow up. Treat your employees well and they will take care of your customers. CEO, founder and MD EMEA are all from VMWare so hiring from VMware happens a lot. Managing director EMEA doesn’t look at only closed won business, but wants people to make 50-60 calls a day. Been asked to translate 2000 words in the language that I was not even allowed to sell in for that region. I get it that at a startup you need to be able to wear different hats, but this was just pointless. Stayed for less than a year, Think about it twice before making the same mistake. Can’t believe I have to put this on my CV just in case it comes up in a background check.
