Pros

OneTrust is really a great start up. They want you to be a Privacy Professional. Contractually require and invest their employees to be subject matter experts not just a salesperson. CEO, VP, Founders, etc enable you to be successful day in and day out. Have the most incredible product that is constantly innovated on daily basis. All colleagues are supportive and eager to help you become successful. Compensated for all time, effort, and work put in! Excited about where this company is going.

Cons

- Young Company with some expected growing pains

Pros

-CEO is open, hard working and accessible to all employees -Title-less culture so ability to execute is rewarded over years of experience -Private funding allows company to focus on winning rather than worry about making payroll -Start-up culture means we get to move fast and make decisions quickly. Little to no red tape to get things done. -Salaries are high and new benefits including better healthcare options (PPO with FSA and HDHP with an HSA - huge tax benefits to both), snacks in the break rooms, and more benefits are on the way. -Departments are well-staffed and if persons are being overworked leadership quickly approves for additional headcount. -Technology is best in the market and the company is synonymous with privacy management in the industry -Get to work for the leader, not the follower, in the privacy space Working in the privacy management space is personally rewarding. I truly believe that the work we is a major net benefit to society. I didn't think about the importance of personal privacy until I started working for OneTrust, now I see the ways that big companies are incredibly invasive and manipulative with the information they have on us, and new privacy laws put the control back into the hands of us, the people, and technology like OneTrust helps companies make privacy a business differentiator. I believe that companies that position themselves as a privacy-first organization will win in the end. I would recommend anyone interested in working for OneTrust speak to current employees about concerns you may have about some of the reviews on this site from former employees. I have not had any of these experiences of yelling/cursing/working weekends/not feeling empowered or in control of my career. At any time that issues are brought up to leadership, they are resolved quickly. I legitimately love working for OneTrust!

Cons

OneTrust is a rapidly growing start up, and when you are building new technology in a new space, you will be required to work, and work hard. While this is definitely the case, leadership is open to flexible working options to maintain work/life balance.

OneTrust: This is How We Did it at AirWatch

Pros

I've had the privilege of working with some incredibly talented and creative people that I now consider good friends, and I'm grateful for the opportunities afforded to me when the company culture was more inclusive.

Cons

Other reviews have mentioned the very aggressive management style (e.g. screaming, cursing, nastygrams, etc.), and I don't foresee this management style ever changing. Creativity and fresh ideas are not welcome, which makes the work itself pretty mind-numbing. Employees are given no autonomy and no opportunities for advancement (unless you came from AirWatch), and the "This is how we did it at AirWatch" excuse is used frequently (and ad nauseum) to justify rinsing and repeating stale ideas and processes. Accomplished, talented female executives are grossly underrepresented at the C-suite, and the few female department heads are ex-AirWatch employees who lack the management experience and leadership skills necessary to helm a growing team. Recruiters hyperbolize unrealistic benefits to new hire prospects (equity, 401k, maternity policy, relaxed culture, promotions and/or raises for a job well done, etc.) This bait and switch tactic doesn't stop at the recruiting level -- it permeates your employment. If you're promised a steak in 3–6 months, they'll give you a fast food burger in 10 months, and tell you how lucky you are to get low-grade meat.
