Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Kabir and the management is incompetent and laid off 950 people just last week and 200 people when covid started! Why do you keep saying people first organization when you don’t care about the employees!!!

Pros

- Benefits have improved (Unlimited PTO, fully covered health insurance, flexible WFH) - Lower level, ground floor employees are generally easy to work with and fairly competent

Cons

- Managers with actual leadership or management skills are few and far between. - Employee review process is non-existent or arbitrary at best. - The CEO paints a rosy picture of how great the company is doing on a whole but it is generally just marketing. - They pretend to care about workers but actions speak louder than words. A company that cares about its employees does not simply lay off workers with little to no cause, or notice and based solely on speculation. - Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Please do not get fooled again, people. In 2020, promises were made about the company's ability to withstand the pandemic, only to do a mass layoff weeks later (shortly after a period mass hiring). Now in 2022, similar assurances were given with the same results (also shortly after a period of mass hiring), the only difference is that the impact was much greater. Almost 1000 people were laid off without notice. What do you think will happen next time? - You can no longer trust this company. If the CEO or executive team tells you to stand, sit. If they tell you to walk, run. If they tell you to speak, shut up. Their words have very little meaning or so it seems. - OneTrust simply does not live up to its name. It is just another tech startup looking to make as much money as it can.

Pros

Pros: Some talented and hardworking employees and leaders who try to make the best of a bad situation. Good base pay, bonus program, unlimited PTO, and health benefits (including fertility). Opportunities to learn, but mostly by trial and error due to lack of strategic direction.

Cons

Cons: Dysfunctional Leadership - due to the CEO's lack of leadership, the senior leadership team are completely out of sync. There’s no trust, no alignment, and no viable strategy, just knee-jerk reactions & internal power struggles. Lack of Vision - decisions are made in silos, with little to no consideration for long-term impact despite middle management and certain functions trying to drive better decision making from within. The leadership team constantly shifts priorities, making it impossible to execute meaningful work. The documented vision is a compilation of buzzwords, and most employees see right through it. Toxic Culture - accountability is nonexistent at the top, and blame trickles down to employees who are left scrambling to fix leadership’s mistakes. High Turnover - talented employees leave because they’re burned out or frustrated by the lack of direction.

OneTrust Response

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We appreciate your contributions to the team over the years. We recognize the importance of strong leadership and clear vision and their effects on the employee experience, so it's disappointing to hear these contributed negatively to your time at OneTrust. For a fast growing company like OneTrust, we acknowledge that there's always room for improvement. We owe it to our customers to evolve as market needs and technology change, and our leadership team is committed to enhance alignment, strategic direction, and communication as we evolve. They presented our OnePlan OKRs for this fiscal year last month to all employees so that we all have a north star to operate more effectively. This strategic plan laid out a clear vision to prioritize and track our achievements successfully. We kicked off this fiscal year with a ton of momentum and excitement. Between CKO and SKO, our teams were given the opportunity to hear from our new Executive team leaders first hand which included all of the exciting work ahead. We are growing our teams in an intentional way so that our people get to do meaningful work every day, and we're looking forward to the progress OneTrust and our people make this year.
