Pros

Work life balance is good, however will depend on your team. Don't work more than 40 hours, and have clear boundaries. Health benefits and unlimited PTO are top notch

Cons

Stuck at the bottom of the corporate ladder, with minimal to no room to move upwards. Unclear on what the path to success and promotion are, and when it rarely is clear, the company is too political to even stay true to their word when it matters. Executive team is a joke. Constant change and miscommunication. Have no clue what the product is even capable of in the field. Never safe. Constant layoffs and fear that you might be next. Salary is lackluster. Been here 3 years and the bonus and salary increase last promotion cycle was a slap in the face.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. Our Total Rewards team has done a lot of great work to enhance our employees benefits packages over the past few years. From flexible PTO to generous global parental leave and company-paid healthcare premiums in the US, it gives our people the support they need outside of work. At OneTrust, we believe career progression and advancement can happen in a number of ways - through new assignments or rotational opportunities, learning new skills, exposure to new customers or problems to solve, and promotions. When you’re defining and operating in a dynamic market there are no shortage of those opportunities. We became a market leader by challenging ourselves, learning every day, and never being satisfied. In the past few performance review cycles, many of our team members were also promoted or moved laterally into new roles within the company. We will continue to promote these opportunities and other career development offerings in the future. There's been a lot of change at OneTrust recently. With the shifts in regulations, technology, and society - especially around data and AI - our company has a responsibility to update our strategy to ensure our 14,000 customers get what they need to carry out successful trust programs. We acknowledge that comes with internal change, and that dynamic environment isn't for everyone. We also understand there's a lot of work to do. There's always room for improvement, and OT leadership appreciates the feedback they hear and read from employees. We've seen this in action from changes they've made as a result of our anonymous employee engagement survey feedback. Like many companies, we regularly evaluate our organizational needs to best serve our customers and to position the company for long-term success. We acknowledge the contributions of those that have been part of the OneTrust team and wish them the very best in their future endeavors.

Watch your back

Pros

Some of the individual managers are great and some smaller teams have a good culture but it is rare.

Cons

The downsides of working at OneTrust just keep growing- 1) you have to constantly watch your back, as leaders will stab you in it and try to push you out of the company. 2) while the values are published the leaders themselves don't model them. 3) the cascade of goals is exchanged for chaos and fire drills. Look elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It's disappointing to see you aren't enjoying your time at OneTrust so far. Our senior leaders have done a lot of work over the past couple of years to scale the business. They've been recruiting leaders from other successful tech companies to help lead OneTrust in the right direction. The trust landscape, data, and AI continuously undergo tons of change. That means OneTrust, its products, and its people have to adapt and evolve over time too. We have to meet the changing needs of the market to best serve our customers. These changes are what's helping to propel OneTrust into a more mature organization with long-term growth and strong market positioning. We had first-mover advantage with privacy, and we continue to shift our strategy so that all areas of trust can be solved with our platform.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It's disappointing to see you didn't enjoy your time at OneTrust. The Trust Intelligence Platform helps companies operationalize trust through their Privacy & Data Governance, GRC & Security Assurance, Ethics & Compliance, and ESG & Sustainability clouds. Together, our four clouds have helped OneTrust define the trust category. Additionally, our privacy software is a market leader and helped OneTrust earn unicorn status early on. As regulations, technology, and society evolve over time, so do OT's products. Our total addressable market is gigantic, and there's a ton of opportunity for us to continue making a positive impact on people and the planet. Because these three things change frequently, our direction and strategy change frequently too. To really thrive at OneTrust, you have to be okay with ambiguity and change. We recognize that degree of change isn't something that everyone is looking for in their working environments. However, if you get excited by change and welcome innovation, you'll love working at OneTrust. It's a place where ideas are welcomed by all tenures and levels and learning happens daily. Our workforce is made up of industry experts and SMEs who build and collaborate while supporting one another. We look forward to OneTrust's future. Thanks again for your feedback.
