If you show up at 8:01 AM or leave at 4:59 PM, you're in trouble. Even if you showed up at 7:00 AM or stayed until 6:00 PM. They will not work with you on this, regardless of having night classes or anything else going on. - A lot of the people at the top are not technical so a lot of times unreasonable goals and timelines are set. - A large amount of rules tend to apply only to people under the Director-level. - On call rotation for developer teams to troubleshoot errors in the middle of the night. In general, this one comes with the nature of the products so it is somewhat to be expected.

Without flogging a dead horse, this is probably the worst place to work in America. Probably as close to treating your employees like slaves as you can legally get. This place is evil incarnate.
