Pros

From top to bottom it is a great company to work for, from the training (especially this), the people, the benefits and everything in between. Can't recommend them enough if you are considering working for them.

Cons

The truth is the actual product/system/model isn't even close to viable for the future, an outdated pricing model which makes it nearly criminal to charge for what they provide. It is the worth noting that it is the best system in the market however with how they charge their customers has to be changed. I expect they will as time goes on and become more aligned with competitors. If they do this, they would dominate once again.

Pros

OpenTable pays very well for the industry

Cons

If you have not worked at the company for 3+ years and are coming in new good luck. There are only company wide trainings for sales and service positions. Management expected me to understand every tool they use without ever being trained. My manager had no desire to train or develop me and even told me "I forget you weren't an internal hire and didn't know things". I trained myself fully and my manager was non existent. This company also has no problem just letting people go instead of developing them. Management would talk about people getting fired like it was no big deal.

Pros

I can confidently say that my initial two months at OpenTable have been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped through the door, I've been met with a team that radiates support, tools that streamline my workflow, comprehensive training, and seamless communication channels. One of the standout aspects of my experience thus far has been the effectiveness of the team dynamics. Collaboration is not just encouraged, it's ingrained within the culture. Everyone is approachable, willing to lend a hand, and genuinely invested in each other's success. This sense of camaraderie has not only made me feel welcomed but has also accelerated my learning curve. Moreover, the tools provided by OpenTable are a game-changer. They're intuitive, robust, and tailored to enhance productivity. With these resources at my disposal, I've been able to navigate tasks efficiently, allowing me to focus more on delivering quality work. The training program deserves commendation as well. It's comprehensive, well-structured, and designed to equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. Lastly, communication within the organization is top-notch. This open flow of information fosters transparency and ensures that everyone is on the same page

Cons

As for cons, I find myself hard-pressed to identify any. My first 60 days have been so thoroughly enjoyable and enriching that any potential drawbacks pale in comparison. OpenTable has truly set the bar high, and I look forward to continuing my journey with this outstanding company.

1. Back to back phone calls 2. The payroll department lacks effective, transparent, and correct communication as well as accountability 3. Numbers/metrics are looked at consistently, almost obsessively 4. Shift schedules are not flexible 5. Long hours 7. Emphasis, priority, and importance seems to be put on the company over the employee frequently 8. You have to answer queries in languages other than your own/what you were hired for which should usually be paid additionally if mandatory or optional 9. The platform is overly complicated for customers to feel self-sufficient which makes for a lot of technical support and customer questions and frustration

Pros

People is really friendly and helpful. Training and Trainers have been great. Leadership has been helpful and open.

Cons

Haven't found any cons just some point to mention on docebo that could improve from my point of view. - Sometimes the course duration aren't that accurate so you might think that ok i need 45 min for this course and because it has more like sub courses goes up to the double of time so gets a little hard to know the time you're going to be spending on the course. There's no way to go backwards and upwards in a video, or has some limitations, i understand it could be a matter of people don't just going to the end and finishing without seeing the videos, but sometimes you didn't get something or you could see the image or you were taking notes and something you didn't hear it and you can no go backwards or if you do you cannot forward to where you were in the video. But other than that courses and trainings have been great, never saw another company taking so much attention in trainings as OpenTable.
