Pros

Fellow employees are very nice and willing to help each out. Ability to work remotely 100%. Interesting technology.

Cons

Innovation by acquisition. No time or resources for organic innovation. No respect and trust to employees. Don't expect raises to keep pace with the market or even meet cost-of-living increases. Though salaries start out at near-market levels, they will almost assuredly lag behind within a couple of years. The best talent leaves. In addition to the cuts that sometimes happen after acquisitions, the OpenText culture doesn't support retaining the best talent, and they soon leave. I repeat: no bonuses, no raises! Don't expect this to change. No career advancement.

Pros

>> I was associated with PS-QA team led by KVS & Raju. They always strive hard to create a good work environment and also value each and every team member. >> They will react on all your concerns without any hesitation, at any given day I would love to work with them. >>The team in Bangalore are a Gem, they are very humble just like their leaders, caring everyone, giving their freedom of expression, work flexibility, time-offs, managing the subordinates task assignment, talking to everyone on a daily basis. >> I really love the way this particular team works, fast paced , concentrates on skills building.- Bangalore team >> In my 2.5+yrs of tenure , all i can say is its a fast paced life. Hike cycles will be good if you are a star player even for avg performances for juniors it is considerably good. >> Very good opportunity to learn more about your related working field >>Exit interview was good, only if it is action-ed upon >> They create a family atmosphere in office, caring a personal level sometimes.

Cons

>> I did not like the Hyd management, treating its subordinates, its not acceptable very similar to school culture, needs lot of correction. Not at all acceptable for IT standards >> Pay is avg not a bad one considering other service comp standards. Can be improved. Need some differentiation between pay given to interns converted to full time emp and existing full time employees >> The overall con was only about Hyd management and no other >> Need employee engagement activities on a bigger scale, it is basically not visible. Currently none >> Employee benefits are not bad, can be improved.
