Pros

They have a lot of products.

Cons

1. 401k match is a total joke. I was part of an acquisition and my previous employer offered a 6% match. Opentext match is 1%. They "spin" it in the employee benefits packet to make it look better, but it is only 1%. 2. This is a TECH COMPANY, yet they no longer allow their employees to work remote! What kind of a tech company does that? You cannot preach the ability to work anywhere in the world and stay connected with iOT and yet you do not practice what you preach! 3. The Development team is short staffed and they are the one's running the show. I've seen so many deals get blown because Development doesn't have enough resources and basically gets to decide what they will and will not work on. How do you grow a company doing this? The sales people are working their butts off to bring in business and it gets turned down ALL OF THE TIME.

Pros

A somewhat stable, large software firm that allows for a decent work/life balance. Compensation is on the low side of average in the industry. People are mostly talented, but morale is low.

Cons

Senior leadership has created a cloudy corporate culture, emphasizing micro management and CYA paranoia. Staff are not valued as the major asset of the company. The leadership has designed a disjointed strategy focused on revenue growth via acquisition, and not internal growth through excellent products and happy customers. No customers really want to buy our stuff; they have to because we are so sticky in their business process.

Pros

Smart SC's. Ops, deal desk, legal.

Cons

SAP relationship takes $$$ out of your pocket. No value from any executives except for EVP of Engineering, partner ecosystem has been slashed, no relationships with even SAP, CEO calls you directly for deal status's and doesn't follow chain of command, too many different account planning templates, worksheets, deal review forms that NOBODY reads. A players don't last here long!
