      A company with great potential that needs to replace its CEO.

      Pros

      Fantastic product stack that could turn into a top 5 software company on the planet. With access to nearly all of the global 2000 and data centers around the globe, the opportunity for growth seems limitless.

      Cons

      The CEO rules and micromanages everything. Most employees have given up thinking for themselves as no independent thought or feed back is wanted or allowed. Management will simply say that whatever idea is presented does not align its the "OpenText Way" and that "OpenText First" is that the CEO wants even if millions will be left on the table.

      They layoff on a regular basis and move the jobs to Manila and they actually tell you that they can hire 3 people over there for what they pay you. This is after they tell you that you are needed. When you apply for another job after they tell you that you can be re-hired no response .

      Pros

      Work life balance is good, no micro management, benefits are ok, time off is good.

      Cons

      most managers are remote so it is hard to get good manager/employee communication. Management does not care one iota about longevity or allegiance to the company......hard to move up once you are in one role, you are basically stuck. Compensation is below average in my area for my position.
