Pros

Great virtual team, Great colleagues Great Salary Home working 3 times per week, with flexibility. Good health insurance for the whole family

Cons

Mark B (the CEO) preaches a lot of great things and how all employees should be treated with respect, no retaliation for speaking out, specially confidentially to HR etc etc, but unfortunately it is just him who believes it or a very good prepared PR speech. Reality is much harsher and if you speak up to defend yourself, you more often than none will be kindly shown to the door with no choice to change departments, of course they indemnify you ..their preferred method instead of protecting you against bad people's managers, who despite having impeccable professional knowledge do not know how to manage or train their people! Unfortunately, there are quite a few of them .....

Pros

Easy to find new opportunities. Easy to move around. Work life balance can be great if your manager allows it. Can be fully remote or up to 2 or 3 days in office. Depends on Management.

Cons

They low ball current employers and will fight to keep you below the level of new employees. For people of color, Management and upper level management seems to be outside the realm of possibility. CEO very out of touch with Employees. Great company to get your foot in the door in tech.

Pros

Overall, the experience is good at OpenText and its subsidiaries if you have good direct management. There are no Pros here, it's just a job and good enough at that. Mainly commenting on Opentext company specifically. Diversity is getting better

Cons

- CEO against fully remote work - Health packages are well below industry average - Compensation below industry average - Culture WELL below industry average due to continuous acquisitions - Benefits and PTO below average - Promotion below average - Company hates spending money on their employees. STINGY would be a good word for this - Leadership at the C-level is alright. Mark and Muhi are the only one who provides a sense of vision and leadership, even then it's JUST their business vision that's great. They do not have the best interest in their employees and we are viewed as a corporate number. - You get your typical corporate experience
